MY HANDS have always been a blessing to me, first as a designer of fashion jewelry (using Japanese handmade paper) and now as a massage therapist. After many years as a crafts person, I realized that raising a son (now 29 can you believe it?) and traveling to sell my creations were incompatible acts, so I began a search for another use of my hands—in a career where I could be with people, one on one, and make a difference in this world. Massage was my answer.
My studies began at the Baltimore School of Massage in 1993 and after graduation I became nationally certified by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Body Work. I have been a member of the American Massage Therapy Association for my whole career. It was my pleasure to have served on the AMTA KY board for 12 years. In 2004 Kentucky became a Licensed State.
I've been learning every day from you about the miracles of the body. It still amazes me, even today, 21 years later, that something as simple as touch can have such a profound effect on a person's mind, body and spirit. I take all that I have learned over the years and put it to work, designing the massage that best fits the immediate and long term plans you have for your health.
I am truly a blessed person to have found my calling in life. Thanks for allowing me to live my life by giving massage and being part of your healthful journey.
